 Accomplishments

& Highlights

Ms. Lucas and Ms. McDaniel's sophomore English classes donated 1500 non-perishable goods to the Fredericksburg Area Food Bank after a Hunger Games-inspired food drive.  Thanks CHS for your donations!  Photo courtesy of Ms. Lucas and Ms. McDaniel.

Ms. Stephanie Charns and her CHS culinary students are reaching out to students in Azerbaijan to exchange world cultures and recipes.   Charns’ students recently made bread pudding topped with caramel sauce and vanilla ice cream then created a PhotoStory to share this recipe with fellow penpals. Charns’ class continues to share letters, photo montages, and other creative means of communication to bridge the gap between two very different world cultures.
