Quick Updates SOLs have begun: please stay abreast of the SOL Subject Area Schedule, ensure students are well-rested, eat a healthy breakfast, and arrive to school on time each day. CHS Graduation (Jun. 2 ~ 12 noon) will also be (live) broadcast online; details coming soon. Honor local heroes with CHCORI JROTC Battalion this Memorial Day, Mon., May 28, noon in RHS auditorium. Register for Lee's Hill Golf Tournament; deadline is Jun. 4. Athletic Physical Night ~ Wed., May 23~ 5:30 - 9 p.m. ~ @ Spotsylvania Middle School~ $15. Accomplishments & Highlights Ms. Lucas and Ms. McDaniel's sophomore English classes donated 1500 non-perishable goods to the Fredericksburg Area Food Bank after a Hunger Games-inspired food drive. Ms. Stephanie Charns and her CHS culinary students are reaching out to students in Azerbaijan to exchange world cultures and recipes. Charns’ students recently made bread pudding topped with caramel sauce and vanilla ice cream then created a PhotoStory to share this recipe with fellow penpals. Charns’ class continues to share letters, photo montages, and other creative means of communication to bridge the gap between two very different world cultures.
