 The Courtland High School Band Program is a vibrant and growing organization which provides our students with numerous performance opportunities in an array of ensembles that are fundamental to a well-rounded Arts Education.
The Courtland Band Program is rich in tradition, having been recognized eleven times as a Commonwealth of Virginia Honor Band.  Our staff and students remain committed to upholding the highest standards of excellence in musical and visual perfomance.

  News and Notes
RBMB Rock-A-Thon - Thursday, September 02, 2010


The Royal Brigade Marching Band will hold its' annual Rock-A-Thon on Saturday, September 4, 2010.  The event will begin at 9:00 PM on Saturday evening and will conclude at 6:00 AM Sunday Morning.  Students are asked to raise money through sponsor pledges.  All the proceeds from the pledges help the individual band and guard members to offset the cost of participation in our Marching Band Program.  If you would like to sponsor a band student, please contact the student directly or contact the Band Office at 898-4445 ext. 5142.  For more information, contact the event chair, Mike Smith at mpaulsmith@hotmail.com 

 
RBMB Season Underway!! - Thursday, September 02, 2010

The Royal Brigade Marching Band's 2010 season in underway and it is shaping up to be a great one!!  You won't want to miss a single performance.  We will be performing at ALL the Home Varsity Football Games and at numerous competitions throughout the fall.  Please check our calendar to find out where we will be each weekend and come out and support the RBMB!!!  Performance Reminders will be distributed each week, detailing information about the upcoming event.  You can also download a copy of the Performance Reminders by visiting the RBMB page of the website.  We hope to see you at all the games and competitions this season!!  Thank you for all your support.
