NOTE: Health Reform Changes (dependents covered until they are 26 years old)
President Obama signed into law H.R. 3590, the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA). One important change to your health care coverage is the ability to have your dependents covered until the end of the calendar year in which they turn 26. However, dependents that previously aged off can only be added back onto your policy during the plan’s open enrollment period.
