Department of Fleet Services (DFS)
The Department of Fleet Services provides fleet management and maintenance services to the counties and Spotsylvania County Public School’s vehicle fleets. DFS location is 6921 North Roxbury Mill Rd. Spotsylvania, VA. 22551. DFS maintains approximately 1,100 vehicles, including 358 school buses.
Services provided by DFS include: Virginia State Inspections, scheduled repairs ( Preventive Maintenance) , and non-scheduled repairs (emergency repairs )to equipment, Department of Educations required inspections on school buses, road side emergency repair services, motor pool operation, and technical support/review for all county vehicle purchases.
