Freedom Middle School will have Back to School Open House on August 19th from 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM.

From August 6th through August 8th, purchases of certain school supplies, clothing and footwear will be exempt from the Virginia sales tax. Each eligible school supply item must be priced at $20 or less, and each eligible article of clothing and footwear must be priced at $100 or less.

Transitioning to Middle School: What parents and students need to know about 6th grade

Freedom Middle School will be open Monday through Thursday from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM.  FMS will be closed on Monday, July 5th.

Rising 7th Grade students must have a parent/guardian complete a TB Risk Assessment Form prior to the first day of school next year.  These forms will be sent home with students this Friday (with SOL results).  Forms are also available on the Spotsylvania County Schools website (under the Health Services tab under Departments). 

Rising 6th Grade students are required to have the Tdap booster shot prior to the first day of school next year.
