What's with all of the bees?  

PBIS stands for Positive Behavior Intervention Support.  It is a systematic and purposeful way of modeling, teaching and reinforcing appropriate behavior.   It is also an evidenced based model designed to improve school climate, and reduce rates of absences and bullying.

During the 2011-2012 school year Spotsylvania County has 5 schools that are participating in a PBIS pilot.  Additional information will be posted on this website as the year progresses.
