Encore - Encore subjects include art, music, library, and physical education. Students attend these "encores", with a specialist one time per week with the exception of P.E. Students attend P.E. twice per week.
Elementary School Schedule - The elementary school rotates on a "5-day rotation" instead of a Monday - Friday schedule. This rotation protects instructional times, as it enhances consistency in the master schedule. Each day is numbered: Day 1, Day 2 Day 3 , Day 4, Day 5. When a day of school is missed, the schedule will AUTOMATICALLY pick up with the next day in the 5-day rotation, ensuring that students do not miss their special (or encore).
