The MHS Athletic Boosters would like to extend a welcome to those returning and new students and their parents. We hope you will become a member of the Boosters and will share in the support we offer to the athletics program at MassaponaxHigh School.
MISSION STATEMENT:
The mission of the Massaponax Athletic Boosters is to provide supplemental funds, as needed, to operate and improve all athletic programs, promote school spirit, endorse sportsmanship and recognize our student athletes.
GOALS:
To provide supplemental funds to all sport teams
To provide scholarship money to at least one graduating senior.
In its history, MHS Boosters has given back to MHS athletics over $39,000 in contributions. These funds were spent on field improvements and maintenance, a scorer's table, an ice machine, weight room equipment, a dugout bench, trainer equipment, scholarships, and more.

MEETINGS:
Board meetings are held quarterly on the first Monday of selected months at 7:00 PM. Meetings will be held in the MHS library unless otherwise announced. Meeting dates are as follows:

TEAM REPS:
The coaches for 9th grade, JV and Varsity teams will be seeking parents to be team representatives to the Boosters. They will serve to give input about the needs of their team and foster cooperation between the Boosters’ board, parents, coaches, and team players.
STANDING COMMITTEES:
The Board invites you to become a member and help serve on the following standing committee:
Scholarship – Two monetary scholarships are awarded to a male and a female senior who has played 2 seasons in a Varsity Sport and has a minimum of a 2.5 GPA and is planning post-secondary education. The parent of the child must be a Booster member. Detailed information about this scholarship is available in Student Services.
FUNDRAISERS:
The Boosters have Panther stadium blankets ($25) and car magnets ($10) for sale. Please email Linda Hildebrand (lindajh@cox.net) or Betsy Branham (betsybranham@comcast.net) if you would like to purchase one of these.
