Annual Pet Drive
The Physical Education dept. will be sponsoring the 14th Annual Pet Drive for the SPCA again this year. The SPCA has a wish list of items that they need for their pets at the facility; these items include dry and wet dog and cat food, kitty litter, paper towels, postage stamps, bath towels, chew bones with no knots, pet treats and pet toys. There are posters up throughout the building as to the specific brand names they are requesting. If you are interested in helping us to make this another successful drive please donate items from the list. Bring your items to the women's PE dept. to Ms. Snuggs between Nov. 18 -Dec. 20th.
The SPCA also has an Angel Tree up at the facility if you would prefer to donate that way. Anything you could do will be greatly appreciated. Any questions please contact Ms. Snuggs in the PE dept.
From the PTA - Hello Ni River Parents
As a special thank you to our Ni River teachers this holiday season, the PTA is putting together treat bags. We are looking for parents to send in donations of specialty chocolates to help with filling these bags. Specifically, we would like to have Lindt Chocolate Balls, Dove Chocolates or Ghirardelli Chocolates. The best prices for these items can be found at BJ's or Costco where they are sold in larger bags for around $10. We are also looking for $5-10 gift cards to Starbucks, Krispy Krème, Wawa, Sheetz, Tropical Smoothie Café, etc.. If you are able to help by donating, please send them in to the front kiosk at the school and they will be picked up by the PTA (please clearly mark the chocolate and gift cards "For the PTA") Thank you for your help in making this special treat for our wonderful teachers at Ni River Middle! If you could have the items delivered by December 11th that would be great!
Lost and Found
Please check the lost and found for lost items, all unclaimed clothes will be donated to the clothing closet on Friday, 12/6/13
