 Weekend Tournament Information

The Soccer tournament will be held at Post Oak Middle/Spotsy High.  Ni River is the 4 seed and will be playing on Post Oak's Field at 9:00 against Thornburg.  Players must be at the field by 8:30.
 
The Softball tournament will be held at Spotsylvania Middle school .  Ni River is the 3 seed and will be playing Battlefield at 10:30.  Players must be at the field by 10:00.

Intel School’s of Distinction Finalist! This award is being presented because of our STEM initiatives/lab.   NRMS will be receiving $5,000. Ni River is one of three middle school finalist (18 total schools in the nation).

 pink calla lily butterfliesNRMS has a Relay for Life Team that will be held on May 19!  To help with raising funds for the American Cancer Society, coins will be collected during lunch time through Thursday, March 29.  The grade level with the most money collected will be able to enjoy music during their lunch on Friday, March 30.  Bring in your spare change to make a difference for people affected by cancer and help your grade enjoy some tunes!

pink calla lily butterfliesMiddle School SUMMER ENRICHMENT COURSES are open to all students enrolled in grades 6-8 during the 2011-12 school year. Courses offered are: Cake Creations; Mythology and Legend; Stop Motion: Storytelling through Animation and Claymation; Life Science Animal Dissection Study; Art Around the World.
 
Deadline for registration is May 3, 2012. Checks should be made payable to Spotsylvania Middle School. The fee is $100.00 per session.

Click to read more information regarding Ni's after school homework/support program.  Please note the change in time.  ASC will continue to meet on Wednesday afternoons from 3:00-4:00.  Parents need to send a note on Tuesday or email anocera@ms.scs.k12.va.us to give permission for his or her child to stay after school to complete missing work or get additional help on classwork.  Students are expected to bring their work with them and be picked up promptly at 4pm.
