Scholastic Aptitude Test
Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) scores are intended to supplement the secondary school record and help admission officers put local data—such as course work, grades, and class rank—in a national perspective. Students may register for these tests online or by sending in a registration packet that is available in the guidance office at each high school in Spotsylvania County. Accommodations for Students with Disabilities
Students who receive accommodations on both school-level and state-sponsored testing programs may be eligible for accommodations on college admissions or Advanced Placement tests. Any student who has a documented disability and accommodations stipulated in an Individualized Education Plan or 504 Plan needs to register that information with the appropriate testing company prior to registering to take a PSAT, SAT, ACT or AP test. Registration materials are available in the guidance office at each high school in Spotsylvania County.
